De ACIS is een ergotherapeutisch observatie-instrument gebaseerd op het Model Of Human Occupation (MOHO). De ACIS brengt communicatie- en interactievaardigheden in kaart en registreert of vaardigheden wel of niet aanwezig zijn en hoe deze de sociale actie beïnvloeden. De observatie vindt plaats binnen een voor de cliënt belangrijke sociale context. De items van de ACIS zijn onderverdeeld in drie domeinen: lichaamstaal, informatie uitwisseling en relaties.
