De defecatielijst (defecatie = stoelgang) wordt gebruikt om het gebruikelijke defecatiepatroon te achterhalen. De defecatiefrequentie en het aantal incontinentie-episoden worden duidelijk uit het bijgehouden dagboek. De lijst kan op papier of digitaal ingevuld worden.1 De defecatielijst wordt ook wel defecatie-dagboek, ontlastingslijst of poepdagboek genoemd.
